Saraland had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Theodore Bobcats. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Saraland pushed their record up to 19-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Theodore, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-16.
