Softball Recap: Richardson Comes Up Short

Richardson's tournament run continued when they took on Livingston on Saturday. The Richardson Eagles lost 9-1 to the Livingston Lions. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Livingston, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season.

Richardson will head out on the road to take on Berkner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Berkner has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.92 runs per game on average), something Richardson will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Livingston, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-3 win against Huntsville on the 1st.
