Hayden Gubler Delivers Electric Performance Vs Milford

Starting off the list is Kanab's Hayden Gubler, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gubler rushed for 179 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.4 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending two passes.

Gubler is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Millard on Friday. When Gubler last faced the Eagles back in September, he rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries.

Bettridge Made His Presence Known in Parowan's 20-19 Defeat

While Hunter Bettridge delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Parowan. Nobody could stop Bettridge as he rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 134 yards and a touchdown.

Parowan's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8. Bettridge and Parowan will challenge Enterprise at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

While Milford might've come up empty on Friday, Judd Netto wasn't going down without a fight. Netto was unstoppable, rushing for 37 yards.

Netto and Milford will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Duchesne at 6:00 p.m. on November 1st. The match will pit Netto up against the Eagles' star running back Kasen Crum. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Rustyn Mackelprang Turns in Season-Best Effort

Sadly, Rustyn Mackelprang posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Parowan over North Sevier on Friday. Mackelprang forced a fumble and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

This season, Mackelprang has averaged 6.3 total tackles per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 2.6 total tackles per game.

Bodie Wheatley Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Bodie Wheatley of Beaver. Wheatley rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 50 yards and a touchdown.

The victory was the third in a row for Beaver, bringing their record for this year to 9-1. Wheatley and Beaver will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Enterprise at 6:00 p.m. on November 1st.
