Baseball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall lost to Hadley Luzerne back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Railroaders took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Railroaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitehall now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hadley Luzerne, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Whitehall will challenge Hartford Central at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tanagers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Railroaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Hadley Luzerne, they will venture away from home to square off against Cambridge/Salem at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Cambridge/Salem will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hadley Luzerne surely won't give up without a fight.
