CRUZ DUBOIS was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is 4-1 (and 5-7 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, JAXEN SPICER was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was MICAH STANFORD, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
