Volleyball Recap: Goliad Starts off Right with Win over Victoria East

Goliad gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Victoria East Titans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Goliad took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12, 25-7.

Looking ahead, Goliad will challenge Keller at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Victoria East, they will be taking part in a tournament against Needville at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
