Game recap: Hinton High School Football Team defeats Sayre

SAYRE, Okla. - After trading leads six times, Hinton (Okla.) snatched the lead for good when Jacob Spady ran for a touchdown in the third quarter, paving the way for victory over Sayre (Okla.) 45-27.

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown, the Eagles went into halftime with a 21-17 lead. The Comets took the lead for good with a touchdown run by Spady in the third quarter.

A 33-13 Hinton victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The victory was a step in the right direction for HHS, which was coming off a 36-22 defeat at the hands of Luther in its previous game. The loss comes after Sayre defeated Mangum 26-6 last week.
