Volleyball Recap: Fremd Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Fremd came tearing into Tuesday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Stevenson Patriots. The Vikings have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Patriots, too.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Fremd who won the one that mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 13-25, 25-16.

Stevenson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryler Bondad, who had 17 assists and 13 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Randle El, who had 18 digs and two assists.

Fremd's record is now 29-7. As for Stevenson, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-13.

As of now, neither Fremd nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
