Basketball Recap: Pillager Comes Up Short

Pillager lost against Henning back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pillager Huskies fell 60-52 to the Henning Hornets. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pillager's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Henning, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pillager will be home for the holidays to greet Verndale at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Henning will take on Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Henning's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
