Soccer Game Preview: White County vs. Greater Atlanta Christian

The White County Warriors will face off against the Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. White County has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

White County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Dawson County on Friday. They lost 7-0 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, White County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Dawson County are ranked 47th).

Meanwhile, Greater Atlanta Christian kept a clean sheet against Lumpkin County on Friday. They blew past the Indians 7-0. Considering Greater Atlanta Christian have won eight contests by more than four goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Greater Atlanta Christian pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matches. As for White County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
