While Fairview put up some  runs on Thursday, the same  can't be said for Holly Pond. The Fairview Aggies put the hurt on the Holly Pond Broncos with a sharp  10-0 victory. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Broncos recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
Fairview got a great performance from  Mali Gregory as she  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  Emily Benson was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-3. What's more,  she posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kylie Kovar, who  went 3-for-4 with two  doubles, one  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Fairview  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .633. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Holly Pond, their defeat was  their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-12.
 Looking ahead, Fairview will be playing in front of their home fans against Guntersville  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Fairview is facing Guntersville at the right time seeing as Guntersville is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak. Holly Pond will get a bit of extra time to process the  loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cleveland at 5:00  p.m.  on March 31st.
