Wren had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.2 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders.

Wren pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three games. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1-1.

Coming up, Wren will be taking part in a tournament against Central Magnet at 12:40 p.m. on Sunday. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they will challenge Bearden at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bearden will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Gatlinburg-Pittman surely won't give up without a fight.
