Soccer Recap: NCSSM: Durham Takes a Loss

NCSSM: Durham's game on Tuesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 4-2 to the Franklin Academy Patriots. The Unicorns were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Hannah Amadi and Atha Brantley scored both of NCSSM: Durham's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

NCSSM: Durham's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1-1. As for Franklin Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. NCSSM: Durham will face off against Cedar Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cedar Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three games. Franklin Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on East Wake Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th.
