Soccer Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester's game on Monday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Southington Blue Knights by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Manchester have lost by just one goal.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Southington, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manchester will challenge rival East Catholic at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southington is set to take on their familiar foe Rocky Hill at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
