Volleyball Recap: Jack Britt Gets the Win

Jack Britt won the last time they faced Triton and things went their way on Thursday too. The Buccaneers came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 3-1.

Jack Britt had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-14.

Elynoeh Cuevas-Vidal went supernova, getting 21 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave her a new career-high.

The win got Jack Britt back to even at 1-1. As for Triton, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jack Britt will square off against Cape Fear at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Triton, they will challenge Northern Nash at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
