Wallace County won the last time they faced Cheylin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wallace County Wildcats skirted past the Cheylin Cougars 59-56.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Schoenberger, who posted 25 points and three steals. Schoenberger's morning made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Wright, who put up 19 points.

Wallace County's victory bumped their record up to 7-8-1. As for Cheylin, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wallace County will head out to take on St. Francis on Friday. As for Cheylin, they will head out on the road to face off against Wheatland-Grinnell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
