Softball Game Preview: Hudson Tigers vs. Clinton Redwolves

The Hudson Tigers will face off against the Clinton Redwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hudson's hitters haven't had much luck over their past three matchups, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hudson saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 8-1 to Lumen Christi Catholic.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Clinton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against Linden, falling 7-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Redwolves have suffered since June 8, 2024.

Clinton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylinn Long, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Hudson now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Hudson suffered a grim 15-4 defeat to Clinton when the teams last played back in May of 2021. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
