Basketball Game Preview: Munday Moguls vs. Perrin-Whitt Pirates

The Munday Moguls will head out to take on the Perrin-Whitt Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Munday is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Archer City: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Moguls blew the Wildcats out of the water with a 70-31 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Moguls had established a 28-point advantage.

Jariyis Williams went supernova, dropping a double-double with 19 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave him a new career-high. Carson Willison was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 15 points.

Meanwhile, Perrin-Whitt put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 72-66 W against Chico. The Pirates' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Perrin-Whitt's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Munday, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
