Volleyball Recap: Dawson Kohl and Jayden Ring Secure Win for Lee's Summit West

Lee's Summit West won the last time they faced East and things went their way on Friday too. The Titans came out on top against East by a score of 2-0.

Leading Lee's Summit West to victory were Jayden Ring and Dawson Kohl. Ring had eight digs and two aces, while Kohl had two aces. Those two aces gave Kohl a new career-high.

Lee's Summit West is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5-1 record this season. As for East, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8-1.

Coincidentally, Lee's Summit West and East will both be playing St. Michael the Archangel the next time they take the court. East will head out to face the Guardians at 4:50 p.m. on Friday, while the Titans will play them later in the day, at 5:40 p.m.
