Soccer Game Preview: Air Academy vs. Lutheran + How To Watch

The Air Academy Kadets will challenge the Lutheran Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

If Lutheran heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Air Academy took over last week. The Kadets had just enough and edged out Palmer Ridge 3-2 on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Air Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Palmer Ridge are ranked 94th).

Meanwhile, Lutheran's match on Thursday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let Lewis-Palmer get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Give Lutheran's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Landon Schroeder and Mason Massarotti scored all three of Lutheran's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Air Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
