Volleyball Recap: Medford's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

After flying high against Rhinelander on Thursday, Medford came back down to earth. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshfield Tigers on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Medford moved to 8-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Marshfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Medford will square off against Tomahawk at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marshfield, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Winona on the 4th.
