Baseball Recap: Morgan Comes Up Short

After soaring to 21 runs the game before, Morgan was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Woodland Regional Hawks by a score of 4-2.

Morgan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Creighton Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Morgan's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Woodland Regional, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.

While Morgan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
