Baseball Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

After flying high against Great Hearts Irving last Saturday, MacArthur came back down to earth. The Cardinals took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dallas Jesuit Rangers on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Rangers: they've now lost three in a row.

MacArthur saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Saenz, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

MacArthur's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Dallas Jesuit, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4-1.

While MacArthur had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
