Basketball Recap: Grace Baptist Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Baptist Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. The game between them and South Shore Christian Academy didn't end well, with the Grace Baptist Christian Academy Centurions falling 55-40. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against South Shore Christian Academy this season, with their most recent defeat being a 60-46 loss back in January.

South Shore Christian Academy was led to victory by Isaiah Stanley and Shaun Almeida. Stanley dropped a double-double with 24 points and 11 boards, while Almeida went 8-for-14 to rack up 18 points and three steals. Stanley's evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Accime, who posted nine points.

Grace Baptist Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Shore Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Grace Baptist Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Shore Christian Academy, they have already played their next match, a 55-41 loss against Varsity Opponent on the 14th.
