Football Game Preview: Rockland Bulldogs vs. Middleborough Sachems + Official Tickets

The Rockland Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Middleborough Sachems at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Rockland nor Middleborough posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Rockland is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest loss since September 27, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against Abington, falling 32-7. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Green Wave are ranked 37th).

Meanwhile, Middleborough fell victim to Norwell and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Clippers 35-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Sachems in their meetings with the Clippers: they've now lost three in a row.

Middleborough's loss dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Rockland, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-4.

Rockland was dealt a bruising 46-3 loss at the hands of Middleborough in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
