Softball Preview: Oakland Oakers vs. Oakridge Warriors
The Oakland Oakers will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Oakridge Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Wednesday, Oakland got the win against Camas Valley by a conclusive 22-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for Oakland.
Maddie Dalberti made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Dalberti has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Dalberti was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI.
