Meanwhile, Midlakes entered their contest against St. Mary's on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Screaming Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.

Midlakes may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored eight points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-8.

Penn Yan Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Midlakes, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
