            For the second straight game, El Toro will face off against Capistrano Valley. The Chargers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars  at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday.
El Toro is probably headed into the  matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Capistrano Valley just ended the team's  three-game winning streak  on Wednesday. They took  a  7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.
For Capistrano Valley's part,  Charlie Fuller tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  Fuller a new career-high.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Jackson Kosewick, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  him a new career-high.  Landon Stewart was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
 Capistrano Valley was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Toro only posted a  batting average of  .192.
 With the  victory, Capistrano Valley broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-12-1. As for El Toro, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.
