Volleyball Recap: Rawlins Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Rawlins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Newcastle Dogies. The Outlaws were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dogies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Karsyn France paced Rawlins' offense, picking up four kills. France got some help from Lily Bustos and her three assists. Rylee Wright controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Rawlins' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Newcastle, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 5-9 record.

Coincidentally, Rawlins and Newcastle will both be playing Burns the next time they take the court. The Dogies will head out to face the Broncs at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Outlaws will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
