Liberty Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of DJ Cuffee, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Andrew (AJ) Barrett who scored seven points along with three steals.
Temple Christian never got on the board in their matchup on January 5th, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Mintz Christian Academy last Thursday. They breezed by the Lions at home to the tune of 63-36. That looming 63-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Temple Christian yet this season.
Temple Christian found their leader in underclassman Josh Little, who went 11 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points and 0 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Little has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Rivera, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Liberty Christian Academy bumped their record down to 0-10 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Temple Christian, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
