Fowlerville has gone a perfect 6-0 against Stockbridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Gladiators will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Fowlerville is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Fowlerville's last matchup with St. Johns could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. The Gladiators came up short against the Redwings, falling 9-1.

Fowlerville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Erik Helminen, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Ryan Perras also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stockbridge). They blew past Reading 14-3 on Thursday. The Panthers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 17, 2024 (when they won 24-6).

The victory made it two in a row for Stockbridge and bumps their season record up to 3-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Fowlerville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Fowlerville beat Stockbridge 6-1 when the teams last played back in May of 2018. Will the Gladiators repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
