Football Recap: Keys Cougars vs. Salina Wildcats

After flying high against Colcord last Friday, Keys came back down to earth. The Cougars were beaten by the Salina Wildcats 56-25 on Friday. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Keys saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ryder Davis rushed for 106 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. Speaking of playmakers, who could forget Treveon Guthrie, who went all the way with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
