Baseball Recap: Keller Falls Short Against Ranked Southlake Carroll

Keller faced Southlake Carroll in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Keller fell just short of Southlake Carroll by a score of 5-4. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Keller's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-4. As for Southlake Carroll, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season.

While Keller had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
