Football Recap: Deer Creek Keeps North Sunflower Academy's Under Pressure

Deer Creek won the last time they faced North Sunflower Academy and Hayden_Smith9 Hayden Smith did his part to make sure it happened again. The Warriors simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Rebels 52-0 for which the team can thank Hayden Smith, who rushed for 72 yards and one score on only six carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making two total tackles.

Deer Creek's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. They received some extra help from Bryce Poole, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Deer Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for North Sunflower Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
