Volleyball Recap: Nevada Union Extends Winning Streak to Three

Nevada Union had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Del Campo Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-12.

Ashley Thompson paced Nevada Union's offense, picking up eight kills. Thompson got some help from Ellyse Havlorson and her 14 assists.

The victory got Nevada Union back to even at 14-14. As for Del Campo, they dropped their record down to 3-15 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Nevada Union will take on rival Placer at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Del Campo is set to square off against their familiar foe Roseville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
