Baseball Recap: Skyline Gets the Win

On Thursday Skyline's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Elgin Wildcats. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Skyline's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Elgin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Skyline has already played their next matchup (against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Elgin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against C.H. Yoe on the 20th.
