Basketball Recap: Westinghouse's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Westinghouse can finally bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Perry Traditional Academy Commodores by a score of 53-45. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 60-48 loss the last time these two teams met.

Westinghouse's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Perry Traditional Academy, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brashear the next time they take the court. Perry Traditional Academy will host Brashear at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, while Westinghouse will host them at 3:15 p.m. on January 14th.
