Basketball Recap: Freeport Comes Up Short

Freeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 58-48 to the Massapequa Chiefs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-46 back in January.

Freeport's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Massapequa, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

As of now, neither Freeport nor Massapequa have any future games scheduled.
