MacArthur has gone a perfect 4-0 against Jefferson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Brahmas will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
MacArthur came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-6 to South San Antonio.

MacArthur saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Villallobos, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The Brahmas are 3-1 when Villallobos posts two or more runs, but 10-16-1 otherwise. Another was Cohen Mayfield, who went 2-for-3 with one run.
Meanwhile, Jefferson came up short against Seguin on Friday and fell 5-2. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Matadors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Aiden Urdiales put in work no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17-1. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. MacArthur has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jefferson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
MacArthur was able to grind out a solid win over Jefferson in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 5-0. Will the Brahmas repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
