Basketball Game Preview: DMLK Panthers vs. Lincoln Lancers

The DMLK Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Lincoln Lancers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. DMLK will be strutting in after a victory while Lincoln will be coming in after a loss.

DMLK was handed a 27-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged Rocky Mountain Prep SMART out 27-25. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since December 12, 2024.

DMLK can attribute much of their success to Dez DIAZ, who posted 12 points, and Tay Hugley, who put up nine points.

Lincoln has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a 50-16 loss at the hands of Kennedy.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for DMLK, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

DMLK came up short against Lincoln in their previous matchup last Friday, falling 47-37. Can DMLK avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
