            Baseball Recap: Plainfield Quakers vs. Greenwood Woodmen        
        
		
        
        
            Plainfield won the last time they faced Greenwood and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Quakers blew past the Woodmen 12-3. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Quakers.

 Luke Warriner looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Plainfield is undefeated when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 9-11 otherwise.
 At the plate,  Zach Rhoden was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in March of 2024.  Luke Starnes was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Plainfield  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greenwood only managed six  hits.
Plainfield's record is now 14-11. As for Greenwood,  they are  on  an  11-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-18.
 Plainfield didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  6-0  victory against Indian Creek on the 27th. As for Greenwood, they have also already played their next contest,  a  3-1  win against Beech Grove on the 29th.
