Football Recap: Lake Howell Comes Up Short at Home Against Hagerty + How To Watch

Lake Howell unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 46-14 loss at the hands of the Hagerty Huskies. The Silverhawks haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Brycen Marbrey threw for 78 yards on 11 of 24 attempts. Jayvon Funnye was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards.

Royce Jenkins went supernova For Hagerty., rushing for 84 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 237 yards and three TDs while completing 82.4% of his passes. 95 of Jenkins' passing yards were hauled in by Makiye McBurse, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Looking ahead, Lake Howell will face off against Flagler Palm Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hagerty, they will square off against Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
