Baseball Recap: Bentley Comes Up Short

Bentley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mt. Diablo Red Devils.

Max Grossman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. Lucas Delaney was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Bentley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mt. Diablo, they moved to 3-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Bentley has already played their next contest, a 26-0 loss against Brave Christian on the 20th. As for Mt. Diablo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-4 victory against Richmond on the 23rd.
