            After both having extra time off, the St. Edmond Gaels and the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. St. Edmond has given up an average of 28.8  points per game this season, but Friday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
St. Edmond is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 36  points  on September 12th, they were much more limited against Bishop Garrigan  last Friday. They were  outmatched by the Golden Bears and fell  65-6. While losing is never fun, the Gaels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Golden Bears are ranked first).
 Meanwhile, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire strolled into their game  on September 12th with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They claimed a resounding  44-0 win over Newell-Fonda. Fans of the Titans have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+  points.
