Basketball Game Preview: Valley Forge Patriots vs. Buckeye Bucks + How To Watch

Valley Forge is 2-7 against Buckeye since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bucks at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

After dropping their season opener at home, Buckeye is headed out to face a Patriots team ready to give their home crowd a win. Valley Forge lost 63-37 to Elyria on Tuesday. The Patriots were down 57-31 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the defeat, Valley Forge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Lexi Samarin posted 16 points. Gracie Kercher was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, Buckeye's game on Tuesday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 41-40 to Fairview.

Valley Forge might still be hurting after the 43-21 loss they got from Buckeye when the teams last played back in January. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
