Basketball Game Preview: Hudson Hornets vs. Bullard Panthers

The Hudson Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Bullard Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Hudson ended up a good deal behind Center and lost 55-38. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 542nd, while the Roughriders are ranked 263rd).

Meanwhile, Bullard had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 69-48 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 21 points or more this season.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Bullard, they pushed their record up to 24-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Hudson and Bullard were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but Hudson came up empty-handed after a 51-50 defeat. Can Hudson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
