Softball Game Preview: Quabbin Regional Panthers vs. Murdock Blue Devils

The Quabbin Regional Panthers will square off against the Murdock Blue Devils at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Quabbin Regional's offense. They lost 7-0 to Narragansett Regional on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Meanwhile, Murdock came up short against West Boylston on Friday, falling 33-9.

Sadie Bauver was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Murdock's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Quabbin Regional, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Quabbin Regional might still be hurting after the 15-0 defeat they got from Murdock in their previous matchup back in May of 2018. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
