Football Game Preview: Okanogan Bulldogs vs. Tonasket Tigers + How To Watch

Okanogan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tonasket recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Okanogan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 34.6 points per game this season.

Okanogan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 56-26 win over Chelan. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mountain Goats: they've now won eight in a row.

Okanogan found their leader in sophomore Tatum Gunn, who rushed for 196 yards and three scores while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. Those 196 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Gunn. Another player making a difference was Wesley Allen, who rushed for 99 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

Okanogan was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 354 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Okanogan didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Hyrum Lyle and Allen.

Meanwhile, Tonasket was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Cascade 57-8. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-8.

Okanogan now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Tonasket, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything came up roses for Okanogan against Tonasket when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 62-0 win. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
