Baseball Recap: Guyer Comes Up Short

Guyer was the 10-0 winner over Dallas Jesuit when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Guyer Wildcats came up short against the Dallas Jesuit Rangers on Monday, falling 10-3.

Guyer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vince Long, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Guyer's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Dallas Jesuit, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Guyer will square off against Wylie at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dallas Jesuit, they will welcome Magnolia Heights at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
