Basketball Game Preview: Westside Wolverines vs. St. Joseph Academy Flashes + How To Watch

The Westside Wolverines will square off against the St. Joseph Academy Flashes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Westside ended up a good deal behind Bishop Kenny and lost 70-54. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

St. Joseph Academy kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by Ponte Vedra and fell 84-36. The Flashes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-28.

Westside will need to focus on slowing down Dylan Evangelista, one of several St. Joseph Academy players who made an impact when they last played. He posted seven points. Jackson Everett was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

Westside now has a losing record of 1-2. As for St. Joseph Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
